The 11th Congress of the World Equine Veterinary Association will be hosted by the Brazilian Association of Equine Veterinarians (ABRAVEQ) and the Brazilian Confederation of Equestrian Sports (CBH).


The Congress will be held in Guarujá-SP, Brazil, from the 24th to 27th September, 2009. Over 1000 veterinary delegates from around the world are expected to attend this event and will be able to choose lectures from a diverse program, with themes such as reproduction, infectious diseases, lameness, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, stem cell therapy, pre purchase examinations, neurology, internal medicine, colic, pre-purchase exams and problems in western horses.
